SEED is a brand-new talent development programme where starting social designers can develop their knowledge and entrepreneurial skills by joining a unique traineeship trajectory with senior social designers as coaches. With a strong focus on artistic development, personal leadership and project management skills you will be able to better define your practice or talent as a designer. Ready to take your skills to the moon?
The SEED Programme
The program consists of two parts, you can choose what suits you best. You can join one of the Masterclasses to learn important skill sets that are needed when working with public and private institutions. In addition, you can apply for the talent development track where you will be working on your individual development plan together with an experienced social designer as coach. Together with all participants of the SEED programme you will present your work, learn from each other and connect with new networks and audiences.
-
The first part of the educational program is a series of masterclasses. The masterclasses are open to all starting designers and train them within the practical aspect as socially engaged designers. With the masterclasses, we help you as a starting young designer to get acquainted with the skills and competencies needed when working in the field.
We believe there are three pillars of knowledge needed for starting social designers to create a more resilient commencement within the design field. These are Positioning, Collaboration & Personal Leadership and Entrepreneurial skills. Join one of the Masterclasses to take the next step in your personal development.
-
As a starting social designer you can join the Development Track where you will work on your individual development plan together with an experienced social designers. You can get advice on developing your autonomous work or getting acquainted and learning with an experienced social design studio and its processes. The Development Track facilitates your own approach by the support from a social design coach or to get first-hand experience as a trainee in a social design practice in the Netherlands.
